Malte Pollmann

Malte Pollmann manages the SafeGuard product solution portfolio signing responsible for the portfolio and product strategy as well as product marketing and building important worldwide partnerships. Malte Pollmann joined Utimaco in 2005 as Business Unit Manager and later Executive Vice President products. On 1 May 2008 Malte Pollman joined the board of directors of Utimaco as Chief Product Officer.

Prior to this, he held positions as product director and business unit leader at Lycos Europe NV (a Bertelsmann company) based in Germany and France. There he was in charge of the European product and marketing management, driving the post-merger integration of French companies Multimania and Caramail SA. In addition, he was responsible for the product and line management of the European Communication business unit, based in Paris. His first management experience was gained as project manager for E.ON Energy in Germany and running his own start-up company as a student.

Malte holds a Master Degree in Physics from the Universities Paderborn and Kaiserslautern, and received a general management education at INSEAD.
