SafeGuard CryptoServer CS50
SafeGuard CryptoServer CS50 is a high-performance hardware security module (HSM) with FIPS standard certification. SafeGuard CryptoServer CS50's open software architecture makes it easy to integrate in a wide range of applications.
SafeGuard CryptoServer CS50 can be used to make transactions secure in ERP and CRM systems, secured PKI environments, and document management and archiving solutions. As a security component SafeGuard CryptoServer CS50 is implemented to provide database security and authentication, and to secure payment applications and electronic invoicing systems.
The SafeGuard CryptoServer 'Development Suite', and its support for all commonly available standard interfaces (including PKCS#11, JCE, MS CSP), provide a means to create company-specific security solutions.
Important product characteristics of SafeGuard CryptoServer CS50:
- Up to 11,000 transactions per second (symmetrical)
- Supports all commonly available symmetrical and asymmetrical cryptographic procedures and protocols (including elliptical curves)
Stores keys and certificates in tamperproofed environment - Guarantees rapid generation of random numbers and keys
- The HSM can generate up to 500 signatures per second
- Can be integrated in any network, from PC to mainframe system and ideal for use in computing centers
- Requires little effort to bring into operation, or for (remote ) administration and maintenance
- Certified in acc. with FIPS 140-2 Level 4, and approved by the ZKA (German central credit committee)
SafeGuard CryptoServer CS50 is especially suitable:
- If the expected quantity of transactions is exceptionally high.
- If a HSM solution is needed for mass generation of individual keys and random numbers.
- If a cost-efficient solution is required for securely storing keys and certificates.
- If business-critical processes need a high-performance HSM solution.
- If a powerful, open HSM solution is needed for programming company-specific security solutions.
